The IDEA Singapore team is on the lookout for a goal-driven, go-getting Senior Manager who can galvanize and organize the cross-function teams, partner closely with our clients to elevate the project impact, and consistently deliver first-rate work across the board.
Senior account manager / project manager:
- Shape reputation, profitability, competitiveness, and shareholder value by developing and leading the execution of corporate reputation plans- that will position the client as a leader, innovator, and outstanding corporate citizen
- Serve as the face, voice and ears of the client externally, consistent with our global purpose, values and principles.
- Lead execution to manage client projects from Singapore office
- To share externally company perspectives, positions and concerns / support for key matters linked to the reputation of IDEA regionally
- To serve as link between business owners and / or brand teams and / or multi-functional teams and the external environment
- To strengthen Company communications and sustainability capability by ensuring that the client is linked with the pertinent global /regional business partners and reapplying best practices.
Key accountabilities:
- Business and external stakeholder acumen. Understand APAC external stakeholder landscape, particularly as linked with company communication. Provides executional leadership, and co-leadership on strategic direction, with judgement on decisions affecting the reputation of the brand;
- Action oriented: A self-starter who is proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance the company’s growth and competitiveness; work hard individually and as part of a team; makes decision that reflect positively on the credibility and reputation of the client and identifies and develops the breadth and depth of resources within the company to help do the job;
- Advocacy: serves as a spokesperson for IDEA and client;
- Public image: ensures a positive image for the client as a responsible corporate citizen by building constructive and effective relationships through the use of diplomacy, tact and integrity with external / opinion leaders, public, business community, customers, alumni, and other stakeholders. Leverages corporate social responsibility projects that bring goodwill to the Company and creates beneficial relationship with external stakeholders;
- Coalition building: builds, maintains and provides leadership and close working relationship with a wide array of organisations, including social responsibility alliances, customers, industry representatives, trade associations, business groups, and non-profit organisations to achieve the company’s strategic goals;
- Emerging issues: identifies emerging issues and in coordination with management, develops company positions and prioritise on these issues which affect the company’s profitability and competitive position.
Competence and skill requirements:
- Bachelor in business administration/ international relations / psychology /communications/ journalism / engineering, with minimum 6-8 years professional working experiences preferred, MBA or equivalent a plus
- Professional maturity and ability to operate in a fast-paced, competitive work environment.
- Strategic Vision: Drives the long-term strategic vision of IDEA network and portfolio; has strong industry/category insight.
- Project Management: Ensures smooth, effective and timely delivery whilst balancing conflicting priorities and managing resources.

You’re a self-starter who is organized, service-oriented, creative, a proficient communicator, able to effectively manage projects by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and maintaining deadlines. Possess excellent research, analysis and writing skills, including the development of high-quality written materials. A great presenter overall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports Account Managers and Managing Director in preparing materials for meetings – scripts, presentations, references, status reports and other necessary collaterals
- Works with Account Managers on the client deliverables and meeting preparations
- Responsibility for producing cost estimates for approval with the client, and managing with the finance team for approval
- Makes sure that there is a clear communication of progress to the team members and the client
Skill requirements:
- BA/BS degree in international relations / psychology / communication / business administration / journalism preferred,
- have 3-5 years of experience in agency or corporate communications (campus internship included), with emphasis on technology, or financial orientation
- Demonstrated capability for developing industry leading strategies and present proposals
- Creativity: Fosters and drives creative excellence; embraces populist creativity and the creative ambition of the network; identifies and exploits opportunities that enhance creative reputation
- Versatile experience working with MNC, local corporates as well as government bodies

- Media acumen and sensitivity
Specialist is responsible for:
- Developing communication collaterals by working closely with account manager and client’s team to understand the ethos and pathos of the product
- Leading the proactive and reactive client interface and outcome measurement
- Creating and maintaining stakeholder list and ensure timely update of social media channels
- Draftin and editing monthly newsletter, webinar invitation and meeting collaterals
- Copywriting and project management support for market research reports
- Creating and maintaining an Asia Pacific editorial calendar (online and print publications)
- Maintaining a media contacts master list for the Asia Pacific, Oceania and European business, ensuring this list is continuously monitored and updated with new and changed media contacts
- Produce necessary contents (PPT, chart, video, infographic) by using AI agent tools such as Kimi, Sora, Midjourney, Perplexity, Capcut
- Regular contact with business stakeholders to understand key themes and trends in the various markets and produce industry insight reports and edits that suit various social media channels
Skill requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and outstanding attention to detail. Adept at prioritising workload and keeping team manager and business stakeholders informed
- Initiative and enthusiasm: Demonstrate a proactive and motivated work ethic and show initiative and problem-solving capabilities
- Organisational Skills: Ability to work on multiple projects autonomously, highly organised and able to function well under pressure. Strong time management skills and able to meet tight deadlines
- Critical thinking and analytical capabilities – ability to interpret and analyse statistics, think logically, identify key themes and trends and derive conclusions
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor degree in journalism / psychology / business administration /IT, 3+ years’ experience in-house/ agency experience, ideally within B2B tech services
- Exceptional writing and editing skills and the ability to adapt writing style
- Experience in the end-to-end project management and social media content production
- Tertiary qualified in Communications or Marketing
