Singapore Finance Minister and Ambassador to China Praise Ucommune For Contributions to Sino-Singapore Business Connectivity
Singapore’s Finance Minister and Chairman of the National Research Foundation, Mr. Heng Swee Keat, and Singapore’s Ambassador to China, Mr.Luo Jialiang, visited ucommune on October 17, 2018. Mr. Heng and Mr. Luo were toured around ucommune’s Fang Yuan Community and had in-depth discussions with community members on China’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, as well as the development of ucommune’s proprietary coworking resource sharing platform.
Minister Heng also inquired about technical fields, development status, market scale and application scenarios of the enterprises that have set up shop in the community. He had friendly discussions with the representatives of the enterprises, and advocated stronger people-to-people exchanges and connectivity between Chinese and Singaporean enterprises.

Mr.Zhu Zilong, Chief Investment Officer at ucommune, introduced the company’s new sharing business model, new mobile internet technology, and a new real estate fund. He updated Minister Heng with ucommune’s current business strategy in Singapore and the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean companies. At the same time, he showcased ucommune’s latest developments in building an intelligent coworking platform encompassing intelligent shared office and lease management system, U Bazaar-an online social platform, IoT, automation, and data mining.
Dr. Mao Daqing, Founder and Chairman of Ucommune, shared with Minister Heng and Ambassador Luo about the development of enterprises on the ucommune platform. Minister Heng and Ambassador Luo also conducted in-depth conversations with representatives of ucommune members such as Zhiguagua, JoyRun, Wuliangang and Rocket Technology.
At the seminar, Yan Changchun, the founder of Zhiguagua, showed the “Internet + Intellectual Property Service” platform to Minister Heng and Ambassador Luo. With “Vanguarding customers’ IP right and maximising the commercial value of the innovative technology” as the company’s mission, Zhiguagua provides customers with a full spectrum of services from the strategy, mining, protection to commercialisation of intellectual property. Yan said that Zhiguagua has served more than 200,000 companies and has also established a base in Singapore to help Chinese companies “go global,” while servicing local companies in Singapore.

As the IT technology integration service provider of the sports event ecosystem in ucommune, JoyRun draws on the advantage of the resources on the ucommune platform to participate in the Singapore Marathon event services and has introduced the Singapore Sundown Marathon to China, contributing to the promotion of the Sino-Singapore cultural exchange. Subsequently, Minister Heng and Yuan Ning, CTO of the Wuliangang, discussed around the Internet of Things and the construction of a Sino-Singapore smart city. Beijing Wuliangang Technology Development Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise established by the National Internet of Things Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and is dedicated to the development and application of the open commonality of the internet of things.
Rocket Technology is a smart office solution and smart terminal provider. Its CTO Mr Han Zheng detailed the cooperation between Rocket Technology and Ucommune. Rocket Technology combines the entry-level hardware and applications of offline office scenarios with “light software + intelligent custom hardware” to bring a more refined operation model to the industry, giving users a smarter and more comfortable office experience. Minister Heng and Ambassador Luo thanked Ucommune for building bridges between China and Singapore. At the same time, they affirmed the significance of U College in promoting entrepreneurial innovation. This will enable university students to get out of the campus and get close to entrepreneurs and innovative science and technology, and also encourage more young entrepreneurs to share innovative ideas and participate in the urban innovation movement.
